SEMESTER-LONG WRITING INTENSIVE

FALL 2025

August 21 - November 13

This fall, we’re running TWO intensive tracks: one for prose (fiction and creative nonfiction) and one for poetry. We will accept up to 12 writers for each track. Both tracks last 12 weeks.

To keep up with the pace of workshop exchanges, prose writers should have about 20 pages of work already in progress. Poets should have at least 3 poems completed.

The prose session will be led by Lindsey DeLoach Jones. The poetry session will be led by Emily Cinquemani.

One 12-week session includes:

• Placement in a small work exchange group with monthly deadlines and feedback from other writers (3 exchanges)

• A one-on-one consultation with your instructor, including written critique and guidance for your work

• Admission to select author events (books included)

• A closed craft lecture in Writeshare’s new space, once a month

• A closed online discussion group on Slack

Cost is $450, billable up front or in monthly installments, and includes all instruction, books, and events above.

Once you’ve received an acceptance into the intensive, you can pay for the 12 weeks in 3 monthly installments or all at once.
